Small Shop - BIG Work!

Responsibility for fundraising in a small shop is not small….it’s BIG!  While difficult in any setting, fundraising as a team of one or two (or three) can pose unique challenges. Join our colleague Emily Hutchison, Director of Philanthropy at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital, who will provide an overview of best practices, share strategies for maximizing results, and encourage participants to share their own “tricks of the trade” for success in a small fundraising shop.

Speaker Bio:

Emily has more than 27 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, and board relations. Her experience includes management of all aspects of a comprehensive fundraising program in both higher education and community non-profit organizations, and currently in healthcare at a critical access hospital in Vermont.  Emily also maintains a long-standing grant writing business. She holds a Master of Education in Counseling from the University of North Texas, and early in her career spent 10 years as a Licensed Professional Counselor, working in non-profit organizations with at-risk youth and families.  She is a native of Vermont where she currently resides.
